31 Jul Edward Dillon Celebrates 150 Years in Royal Hospital Kilmainham
In July Edward Dillon, leading distributor of world-class, premium drinks brands, celebrated its 150th anniversary and Movement Events were on hand to ensure it was a celebration to remember. Over the last 150 years, the Edward Dillon portfolio of brands has become part of the fabric of both historic and contemporary Irish society from Hennessy Cognac to Bacardí Rum and Jack Daniel’s Tennessee. The prestigious gala dinner was held in the extraordinary surroundings of the Royal Hospital Kilmainham where RTÉ’s Shay Byrne acted as MC for the evening and CEO, Andy O’Hara welcomed guests into the great hall where they were treated to an exquisite three-course meal.
We were tasked with tastefully introducing the Edward Dillon brand to the event, bringing guests along a journey that has spanned over 150 years. We installed a branded photo backdrop in the Chapel at the RHK where guests were welcomed with a champagne reception. Then in the great hall, we erected a 4 metre high backdrop for the stage as well as creating a number of history boards, time-lining the biggest milestones the company has experienced throughout the years.
